About 100 Oberhausen residents are being treated by Aidshilfe Oberhausen due to HIV or AIDS. That's what Aidshilfe Oberhausen invites to tomorrow's World AIDS Day. HIV-infected people do not have AIDS automatically. The disease is only a few years after HIV infection, says Aidshilfe. Both are not yet healing. But in medicine, a lot has happened in recent years: Everyone who has HIV infection discovered and treated early has a significantly lower risk than AIDS will even break out. Information can be obtained from the Aidshilfe counseling center at Marktstraße or the health department at Tannenbergstraße.
