Championship champion Magnus Carlsen has to wait for his first win at the Chess Championship in London. The second game also ended in the drawing – and it was a great success for the challenger Fabian Caruane, who surprised Carlsen with a rare move in the rejection of the Queen's Gambit. In the end, Caruana had no problem with drawing insurance.
After another game and today's rest, it continues on Monday with a third match (16 hours, live ticker SPIEGEL ONLINE).
