Lenovo introduced the next generation of the ThinkPad P series at the Next Build London conference. Mobile work tools are equipped with high performance quad-core processors with Intel and Nvidia Quadro processors. Devices are especially suitable for calculating AI or CAD applications. Overall, the Chinese have introduced five new models with screen sizes of 14 to 17.3 inches, and market launches are expected this summer.

The new ThinkPad P53 assortment claims that the strongest 15-inch workstation is currently available on the market. The laptop is available with Intel Xeon or Intel Core 9 generation processors. In addition, the equipment list includes Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000, maximum 128 GB of RAM and 6 TB of storage space. The content reflects the ThinkPad P53 on the OLED 4K resolution screen, Dolby Vision HDR and touch support.

ThinkPad P1 Gen 2 is also located in the 15-inch class, but the ThinkPad P1 Gen 2 is much thinner and lighter, despite powerful components, the mobile workstation weighs only 1.7 kilograms and the case weighs only 17 mm. P1 Gen 2 also works with Intel's Xeon or Core processors of the ninth generation. Nvidia Quadro models Turing T1000 and T2000 are available as GPUs. You can configure up to 64GB of RAM and 4TB of data storage. As with P53, the board uses OLED technology along with 4K resolution and HDR support – but no touch support is required here.

The ThinkPad P73 with a 17.3-inch IPS panel, which also offers 4K resolution and Dolby Vision, offers more viewing space. The choice of available hardware components is based on a smaller P53. Accordingly, Xeon and Core processors with eight cores as well as Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 GPUs are also included. In addition, maximum 128 GB of RAM and 6 TB of data storage.

Below the regular P models are ThinkPad P53 and ThinkPad P43s workstations. Devices are equipped with 15.6 or 14-inch IPS 4K or WQHD resolution screens. Only Intel core processors of the eighth generation are available on the processors in conjunction with the Nvidias Quadro P520. The maximum memory is Lenovo with 48 GB, the data storage is greater than 2 TB final. The operating system for all devices is either Microsoft Windows 10 Pro or Ubuntu Linux.
