The Egyptian trade union representative expressed concern about the appearance of some guests in Cairo following the crisis of artist Rania Youssef due to her appearance in the semi-dress at the closing ceremony of the festival.

The Syndicate said in a statement: "Many of those interested in cultural and artistic affairs have expressed deep concern about what they observed during the ceremony of opening and closing the International Film Festival in Cairo, which we consider to be the most important international events affecting the image of Egyptian and Arab art in front of the world in front of the culture of extremism and terrorism. "The appearance of some festival guests does not correspond to the tradition of society and its values and moral nature, which has undermined the role of the festival and the trade union responsible for keeping its members."

The Declaration added: "Although we believe in the artist's freedom of personal personal faith, we call on the realization of their public accountability to the masses, we appreciate their art and therefore the union will investigate with those who see it cross the right of society and will receive the appropriate punishment repeated in cooperation with the top management of the festival and the Union of Trade Unions ".
