Wesley Sneijder, Qatar's Al Gharafa player, was furious after being dismissed for Qatar in the 12th round of the Qatari League.
"This is my last day in Qatar," he said as he left the pitch for the players.
The last moment of the match was Sneijder's shot on the red card immediately after a joint ball with Qatar Jassim Al-Hill's goalkeeper.
Sneijder did not accept the judge's decision at all, and he left the stadium and threw a captain's badge on the ground.
Al Gharafa announced that he had filed a formal protest with the Football Association for expelling the Dutch star.
The match ended with Al Gharafe at 2: 0 in 47 minutes and 83 minutes.
