The Bitmain Mining Manufacturer confirmed the information about the upcoming closure of the Amsterdam office. This is what CoinDesk writes.
According to the press service of the company, the decision was made within the reorganization of the business.
The source did not report how much the unit's staff would cut, however, according to LinkedIn, the Amsterdam branch office employs at least nine people.
Recall that earlier in January, all 23 Bitmain research staff members were cut off in Israel. The company also halted mining operations in Texas.
In addition, according to numerous specialized media, founders Bitmain Cihan Wu and Mikri Zhang have abandoned their leading positions due to differences in opinions about the future business development vector in the crypt market crash.
