A new name has been added to the list of wearable equipment manufacturers – OnePlus, as expected, today gave official status to its own fitness bracelet Band. The novelty will compete with the most popular Xiaomi Mi Band bracelets, as well as the Honor Band 6 and others.
OnePlus confirmed the information from the presentation, “leaked” to the network a few days before the announcement. The device will soon be on sale in India. OnePlus Band MSRP for Indian Market – 2 799 rupee (1,084 hryvnia), but initially the price will be reduced – 2,499 rupees (968 hryvnia).
The OnePlus Band features a 1.1-inch (126×294 pixel) AMOLED touchscreen with 37 different protective surfaces (five pre-installed out of the box) with flexible customization options.
The bracelet supports 12 sports activities and the possibility of free training for all sports and activities not listed. It also supports the heart rate monitor (24/7 heart rate monitor) and pulse oximeter (ability to assess blood oxygen saturation SpO2), sleep monitoring, as well as standard control and display notifications from a connected smartphone.
OnePlus Band has a 110 mAh battery, which should be enough for 14 days of battery life. There is also water and dust protection (IP68, 5ATM) and support for Bluetooth 5.0.
The OnePlus Band stands out for its light weight – the tracker itself weighs 10.3 grams. The silicone tape weighs another 12.3 grams. By the way, you can choose between three colors: black, navy blue and orange-gray (orange inside, gray outside). True, the kit is only black, and the rest is purchased separately.
