After taking over the suit from the consortium led by Lawrence Walk, he kept his Force India nickname for his team and chassis.
However, in the official F1 2019 list, which the FIA announced Friday night, it was confirmed that the Silverstone team will be fully booked.
That would abolish the Force India name that was present in F1 because former Team Leader Vijay Mally took over the Spyker team at the end of the 2007 campaign.
The entry list also confirmed racing for most F1 2019 classmates.
McLaren's Lando Norris will compete with # 4, Williams & George # Russell will have # 63 and Sauber's Antonio Giovinazzi will play # 99.
Aleksandar Albon was yet to reveal his number, but F1 returnee Robert Kubica will compete with # 88 on his Williams.
Elsewhere, there are revised team names, in particular Scuderia Ferrari, adding Mission Winnow to its official entry, while Haas F1 added a new sponsor of Rich Energy in its name.
