Crafter College Station shares the steps for the DIY autumn crown

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. (KBTX) – Regina Havens, owner of Wreath Around Town, has always appreciated craftsmanship. In January, he started watching videos on social media that showed how to create garlands. He never imagined that he would start his garland production business.

"I learned some techniques, I made one for my entrance door, and then my neighbor saw it, and then my sister saw it, and from there it just kind of snowballs, "explained Havens.

It was not until last summer that he decided to officially start Wreath Around Town. His garlands are made to measure and customers are able to choose their own theme and color combination.

Havens is a mother and works full-time, but says that making wreaths gives her the opportunity to relax in the evening. Each crown takes two to three hours to complete.

Watch the attached videos to see Havens taking us step by step in the process of creating a garland with the ripple method.
