1. Take advantage of the salient points of the story

Did you know that you can make your stories available to viewers even after the 24-hour period? Just use the "Add to highlights" function and voila. Your stories will be accessible on your account in the Highlights section.

The highlights of Instagram allow brands to take care of more stories so that their audience can watch them as they please; this will allow you to make your evergreen content.

Think of your story Highlights as a movie trailer. Get creative and show off your products in exciting ways to attract your audience.

You could include expert interviews or behind-the-scenes footage of events you're part of. You can even show photos of your customers using your products. Or consider sharing unique and interesting use cases of your products.

2. Use surveys, quizzes or share quizzes

The survey feature in Instagram Stories can help you better engage your audience. It also helps you to know them better as well as their tastes and preferences.

This option can help you create content that resonates with your audience. When you ask for their opinions, you get great data and feel more appreciated and connected to your brand.

This method is also a great way to get customer feedback. It can help you understand how your followers and online customers perceive you and this feedback can help you improve your products and identify the most effective message to win customers.

Sharing funny stories or creating quizzes in Stories is another great way to engage your viewers.

3. Take advantage of the content generated by the user

A great way to use stories to engage and create your audience is to exploit user-generated content (UGC). Encourage your followers to present your products in their stories and tag your brand in them.

You can offer a sort of incentive so that people are motivated to share their experiences using your products. You can offer them free gifts or even the chance to be present on your Instagram page.

User-generated content can save you time and effort. It allows you to promote your products without being intrusive. It also helps build credibility and gain the trust of the target audience.

UGC can also help you connect better with your customers, and is a great way to make your brand known.

4. Take advantage of the influencers

Influencer marketing is a great way to promote your brand and your products. You can take advantage of Instagram stories even in your flu campaigns. It can help you conquer new audiences and increase conversions by allowing consumers to easily discover your products.

You can take advantage of Stories for influencer marketing in two ways:

You can share videos or product images with your influencers and ask them to use them in their stories.

Or you can ask influencers to create their own Story content that characterizes your brand.

You should consider working with a micro-influencer if you have a limited budget. They can help you generate a better ROI from your flu campaigns; this is because working with micro-influencers is cheaper and their engagement rate is usually higher than the most important influencers.

But this also means that you will have to work with more of them to reach more people. You could work with an influencer marketing agency to help you resize your campaigns.

Make sure your influencers tag your brand in their stories. You can also ask them to put a link to your website or use the hashtag with the brand in their stories.

For the success of your campaigns, you need to find relevant influencers in your niche. Make sure you are an expert in their field, have a decent number of followers and a good rate of involvement. Check the published content to make sure that their style and messages are in line with your brand.

5. Share personal stories

People have an intrinsic curiosity about the way things work. To draw on that curiosity, you can share stories about your brand or products, customer experiences, the process of creating a product or even your employees.

Customize your viewers' experience with behind-the-scenes stories that help you humanize your brand and connect with your audience on a deeper level.

The use of video is increasing at an impressive rate. By 2021, 80% of all web traffic will probably be video traffic. Instagram provides a way to share recorded videos and live videos in Stories. So do not lose either of the two formats.

Instagram is a crowded place. Live videos are a great way to stand out from the crowd and get more visibility. Even if there is a strong competition in your field, you will definitely notice.

In addition to live videos, you can share pre-recorded videos that show off your products. Or your videos could be about the way your products are produced or the ones that show them in real use.

Videos can be a great way to help your audience get to know new products, especially when you're promoting your product launches. Videos in stories can be very effective to increase brand awareness when launching new products.

Put a lot of thought into creating your videos. Do not focus entirely on promoting your products. Keep an exciting conversation and show your viewers how they can benefit from your products. Create videos that are compelling and unique.

Your videos may include:

Live and exclusive interviews with industry experts or influencers.

Events to which guests or participants.

Upcoming product launches.

A newsletter

Users can now add custom hashtags to stories via stickers or text. Hashtags can expand the reach of your post. In addition, they provide a way to connect with the largest Instagram community.

You can also tag a physical position in your story. It will then be displayed based on the position of your viewers. Adding location stickers to your stories will help you show you more research. People will be able to find you easily.

Also, tag yourself in your stories; this will help you send users to your profile. Do not forget to tag influencers and other people you have also mentioned in your stories.

8. Promote your stories

Instagram allows you to publish Stories ads so they are shown in the stories of the people that follow. It can be a single image or a video of, maximum, 15 seconds.

The insertions are inserted considering the theme and the format of the story. A convincing announcement allows a brand to maintain the full attention of the user for a few seconds. Promote your stories on Instagram to let you discover a new audience and raise awareness of your brand.

Instagram stories are here to stay. If you are not yet exploiting them, you are definitely losing a lot. Stories can help brands reach more people and increase engagement on Instagram. They can also help you convert potential customers into real customers.
