Married actresses Emily Blunt and John Krasinski had been pretty successful in 2018, and Matt Damon was more than happy to let them know.
Blunt and Krasinski, the latter Newton's cousin, previously known for Jim Halpert's role in NBC's "The Office," were nominated for Thursday's Entertainment Weekly Entertainment Week. Her honor was a great year for a duo who saw the success of "A Quiet Place" as well as the role of Krasinski in "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryanu" and Blunt's "Mary Poppins Returns".
To mention the inclusion of the pair on the list, EW talked with Damon, who together with Blunt performed in The Adjustment Bureau in 2011 and collaborated with "Promised Land" in 2012 and worked on "Manchester by the Sea" In 2016 with Krasinski.
"Playing the character on TV shows so long, John had this unjust burden that he had to break, and that was done now, clearly," Damon said. "Emily, I do not think she ever did, and when I worked with her almost 10 years ago in the customization office, everyone knew she was a really darling actress, but with this year's one blow A Quiet Place & # 39 "Mary Poppins Returns," she is now a huge movie star in the eyes of the green-eyed people. I do not think we've seen the limit of what others can do. "
In a recent interview with EW, Krasinski said he could not stop breaking by watching Blunt on screen at Mary Poppins Returns, which opens on December 19th.
"Twenty-five minutes in the screen, Emily and I, I got up and went to the back of the room, which, of course, communicates instantly apart from kissing your partner out of the room," said Krasinski. "She said," My God, you never did that, would you stop the movie? "And I was just in the back of the concession table, and I just said," No, I'm looking for the napkins, "because I had to stop crying and blowing my nose because I was blowing the whole tissue box for 25 minutes."
