Robyn covers DIY October issue, off this Friday | news

When Robyn made her comeback this summer with the fantastic 'Missing U', it was as if the eight years she'd spent on her latest album – the lusty hammerblow & # 39; Body Talk & # 39; of 2010 – had disappeared into thin air.

The new singer's album comes out at the end of the month and we are pleased to welcome you to the cover of the October issue of DIY to talk about "Honey". It has been eight turbulent years, but as you tell us in the cover film, one that ended up touching her in a new kind of inner peace, and the return with an album that sees her face the challenges of life with one hand more soft, more thoughtful.

"My instinct was to make it [feelings] and face things upside down, but this time it was not an option for me, "he tells us in this month's cover." It looked like a dead end. I could not push myself further. He will not go anywhere. I can not write sad songs of love for the rest of my life – it will only be pathetic! "

Robyn joined the new issue – released on Friday 5 October – by MØ, who (finally) releases his second album "Forever Neverland" and continues inexorably to his singular vision. John Grant is also in the magazine, embracing the ugly and difficult sides of life in the new album "Love Is Magic".

Elsewhere, we reach Fucked Up, which returns to be their most bizarre and bizarre self in the new album "Dose Your Dreams" and in the transatlantic punk Basement, whose return finally feels solidified in the brilliant "Beside Myself".

Sundara Karma is also in the new magazine, talking to us about the work currently underway on their next album (!), While You Me At Six has found a new outlook on life on the sixth album titled "VI", and Anteros do not see the 39; time to participate in their DIY & # 39; s Presents tour in the UK and to their debut album, which will arrive next March.

With Grimes receiving the treatment of Hall of Fame, Lady Bird takes on the challenge of It's Your Round, reviews of new Brockhampton albums and live reports from Reeperbahn, End Of The Road and more, the new number is absolutely rammed. We can not wait for you to see it.

The new issue of DIY came out this Friday (October 5) – order a copy (or sign up!) Below, and see you on Friday!
