Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, thanked the Drug Control Board (DEA) on her research in Venezuela on Thursday, pointing to Nicolas Madura.
"The DEA investigations directly pointed to Nicolás Madura's dictatorship and helped arrest several of his relatives and his close relatives on drug trafficking charges," Pence said.
The US official said the contributions of the department "empowered" citizens to support the interim president Juana Guaido. "There is freedom in Venezuela," he said.
