Gladys Requena said on Wednesday that the country's citizens would "defend their lives" by Nicolas Maduro, even "if they were forced to eat rocks".
"Our people will not lean, whatever we have to do, we will do so if we have to eat rocks, we eat them." We will defend the dream of Hugo Chavez with our lives, "Requena told the media.
The official leader participated in a meeting with senior citizens in the capital, one of the activities of the ruling party in response to the proceedings of the interim president Juana Guaido.
