The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Venezuela (Fedecámaras) has rejected the request of the head of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) to concentrate on Thursday at Fedekamara's headquarters.
He expressed disagreement with the vandalism that took place on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Lara Chamber of Commerce in a demonstration called by the Bolivarian Socialist Workers' Federation.
The union said that the economic and political model was solely responsible for the difficulties Venezuela is currently suffering. He stressed that the real cause of the country's crisis was 15 years of this economic model.
Fedecámaras emphasized that the only responsibility is the national government, not the sanctions of the international community, guilds and business people of the country.
He pointed out that the government is trying to keep the main business representation as an enemy that will overcome, trying to justify the failure of the "economic recovery plan", as it only increased hyperinflation, issuing inorganic money, closing down businesses, shortages and Venezuelan diaspora.
"We strongly urge the government to leave the hot rags and take immediate measures of the economic measures needed to address the socioeconomic imbalance of Venezuela," he said.
He explained that the agency is promoting the economy that makes it possible to achieve decent wages that guarantee the quality of life and ratify its commitment to the country.
"We are betting on development, prosperity and well-being in Venezuela, where economic freedom, private property and free enterprise are guaranteed," he concluded.
