JAH Signal made a mistake!
There was no need for him to launch his "Jaya" album, so close to the "Chitubu" Jah Prayzaha release – there is absolutely no way he would ever win the PR war.
Jah Prayzah and his team have special skills when it comes to marketing and hiping not just their events but singer's products – they once again proved last weekend.
In a country that has recently survived laundry drying and defective bakeries, with the prices of most of the basic products and medicines, Jah Prayzah once again proved his strength with a full house for a decade in HICC.
So, PR Jahse Pra Praze is that the great movement of the Sign Sign, which last weekend attended more than 15,000 people at Kuwadza 2 Grounds, ended with a shaded ex-usual plus or minus 5,000.
So, is the Jah Signal project dead and buried?
"No," said the award-winning music producer Oskid, who worked on three of the 14 songs on the album – "Nhando", "Ndine Mukomana Wangu" and "Gomo".
"I've made many award-winning albums in my career, I have a good ear for music, and this is one of the best debut albums of any artist I've been working with. That's what Jah Signal's career was craving, something like this to draw him to next level, "said a famous producer from Gweru.
He added, "If there was no album power and, of course, many promoters and sponsors who were standing with him, his time might cost him a lot, but no more, Zimbabwe is not stupid, they know good music."
Jackie Dzabasa or Jack Radix, a veteran Zim dancehall promoter who worked with award-winning music entertainment companies Chipaz Promotions and South African companies Silent Killer Promotions, also sang Jah Signal praise.
"This album" Jaya "is the first Sign Sign, but the answer that has so far received from Zimbabwe around the world shows that the young man has a great future. Kuwadzan's show shows that more than 15,000 people from Harare, if not Zimbabwe, is having an open air space to witness its launch of the album for the first time.
"His main advantage was that Stonyeni's singles before the release had already become a street anthem before the album hit the market, he was young, he was a cool voice and showed great potential, his video" Shinga Muroora "has over 1.5 million views on YouTube – it's massive," Radix said, adding: "Jaya is different from the songs he has made in the past, and music lovers around the world have received very good. (3 November), has sold all 3 500 CDs that were brought to the venue and there is still a huge demand for it. "This album introduced it to the mainstream entertainment – no doubt.
With the right stage usually reserved for large shows, along with intelligent lighting and sound system that matches the stadium's performance, Jah Signal left Kuwadzan in awe.
Speaking to The Sunday Mail on the edge of the album's oversized launch, K2 DJ Zee, the real name Perkins Govere, said after releasing "Jaya" and an exceptionally successful album, Jah Signal is heading for the stars.
"Nyama yakanaka inozvitengesa yega (quality meat does not need a salesperson). This is a huge boost. These thousands of people who attended the launch of the Sign Sign are statements. Of course, his brand was already out there, but this album and launch itself took him to a new level.
For years I've been playing at the K2 Nightclub, and I also live here. I have not seen such a size or this organized in this area. This young man has just raised at least a very high level and in the process has hardened his base because it is his home where he grew up and went to school.
"The level of respect he enjoys for this concert and other success is surprising. No parent will tell his child that music is more for moms – he has proved that music can also be a reward for his career. and persistence can lead to this industry, "said DJ Zee.
Captured with love from the crowd at K2 Grounds launch, Jah Signal became so emotional, kneeling on the stage and thanking his fans. The crowd was so big, the projectors had to be installed quickly so everyone could see what was happening on the stage. The parking lot was a nightmare, supermarkets and small shopkeepers had to close early – some were unable to cope with "chaos" while others wanted to be part of the fun.
Seh Calaz, Pah Chiher, Chillspot family, Hwindi president, killer T, Freeman, Lady Squanda, Queen Kadhijah and DJ cables are also performing at the event.
His manager Hillary's "Punchline" Mutters said they were taking the album on the road until they came to all parts of the country.
"We will take him to different cities and cities in Zimbabwe, as well as other countries, and we will be releasing a number of music videos, so we've done two and have four more videos," said Mutake.
Jah Signal expressed his gratitude to his fans, sponsors and his parents, who made the launch of the album.
The event was supported by corporations, including Silent Killer Logistics, Impala Car Rental, AB Communications, Punchline Entertainment, Dapper Gents and Team Swah Family, led by Mhofel, a real name called Innocent Shito.
In addition to Oskid Productions, Jah Signal also worked with Simplex, Maselo Productions, T-Man, DJ Tamuk and DJ Lovers to produce a 14-track album that will give a sound track to this year's festive season.
Some of the songs that had a direct impact were the title song "Jaya", "Nhando", "Stonyeni", "Shanda" and "Unovashungurudza", featuring Nicholas "Madzibaba" Zakaria.
Even without the album, Jah Signal was already on the go, with more than 50 singles including "Tirarira", "Mkwasha Imboko", "Ganda Idema", "Kunzungu Nekunyimo", "Rure Rure", "Rudo", "Tisvike "," Ndezvepasi "," Ku Gombwe "," Dai Mandiudza "and" Yatanga Hondo "on behalf of several.
His services are also sought at regional and international level. This Wednesday, he went on a two-week tour of Australia and the United Arab Emirates.
