Piers Morgan accused Holly Willoughby of "making fun of" by taunting him over the text in the midst of their TV feud.
British program director Good Morning broke up with Holly and her co-organizer Phillip Schofield this month at the TV Choice Awards.
Morgan was convinced GMB would receive the Best Daily Show award, but this morning he lost for the fourth year in a row.
He was furious and later called them "snivelling b ***** ds", adding "f *** you and f *** his prizes".
His anger even fueled Holly and Phil's response this morning, and the couple jokingly dedicated the award to them.
Piers has now opened up about the altercation, revealing that Holly teased him at the TV Choice Awards and sent him a complacent text.
In his column for Event Magazine, he wrote: “I arrived at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane to find myself at a table just outside the stage, and right next to the crew from This Morning, who constantly beat us up.
"You're going down this time," I whispered to Holly Willoughby as we exchanged fake show-air kisses.
"I'm sure you'll win, Piers," she smiled smilingly. "And so you deserve."
"Of course, we lost – this morning … Holly looked at me [from the stage] and winked.
"When I got up to introduce Lorraine [Kelly] with her reward, my veins were inflated with angry nausea …
"I left right after that, as I got home, a text message came from Holly, 'LOVE you! "Which was read, with five smiling emojis."
Piers later slapped the labeled Phil and Holly acceptance speech on GMB, calling it "sick."
The lively presenter sobbed sarcastically, "I just want to say how excited I am for this morning. If anyone loves you more than you love, it's me."
